What IS a health coach anyway??

I’ve often been asked, ‘What do you actually do as a health coach?’ And if you ask any of the thousands of health coaches that now exist in the US that same question, you will get a different answer from each and every one! In general, health coaches provide coaching, guidance, resources and support in numerous ways. However, each is unique in their approach.

So what do I do as Your Wellness Partner? I’m proud to say that what I offer is unique as well.

I mostly work with people that have chronic health challenges and autoimmune ‘dis-ease’. The chronic conditions may include sugar addiction, weight issues, migraine headaches, digestive issues and high stress. The autoimmune conditions range from MS, lupus, alopecia areata, psoriatic arthritis, psoriasis, thrombocytopenia, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and many others. I’ve worked with people all over the globe to naturally return to optimal health.

As a holistic health coach, I take a natural approach in helping my clients manage their conditions, using diet and lifestyle as primary factors in supporting one’s health. We start with where you are, with the symptoms and conditions you’re dealing with, and work together as partner’s in creating a path to reduce your symptoms with a workable and sustainable approach. The idea is to guide you to a way of eating and living that is not only restorative in the present, but also provides you with the tools for longevity and ongoing great health.

So we examine not only your diet and add in what might be missing but we also explore what’s best for you; your body, health and life are unique so the impact of exercise, sleep, stress and water as well as a number of other areas, are unique too. All of these factors impact current health and your body’s ability to restore to a level of optimal function.

We talk on a bi-weekly basis, via phone or Skype. You have access to me via text and email as often as you need in between those sessions. And most importantly, EVERYTHING we do is customized to you and what is needed for your health.
